I would buy:
- A girls T-shirt with Eve on it *_* (like on that one wallpaper: http://www.guildwars.com/gallery/wallpaper/gw-wp022.php)
- A poster with the same image
- A poster with my own character(s)
- One of those cloth worldmaps *_* (all continents, though, not just one)
- A general GW mug/mouse pad
I wouldn't buy plushies >_> I'd squeel over them when I see them in the store, but I'd put them on my bed and then they'd fall off and never make it back on xD
Also; PLEASE make it possible for the European people to buy it in Europe. I'm not paying for customs

Start in Droks, head out the northwestern gate, go north for a bit, hugging the western wall of the valley, turn left at the tengu, you should see a smaller valley, more of a crevasse really. Anyway, follow that and and in a cave at the end you should find your brethren. Good luck and have fun!
If you released a nice few cloth maps (high quality cloth and printing) with maps of each of the continents, maybe a full world one with each having a title and a completely unfogged map (like, no foggy areas at all, preferably), I'd be on it like flies on... uhm... *casts around for a better example* like mending on a wammo.

Perhaps a very large mousepad (14x18" or larger). Possibly a T-shirt with something funny on it. You could do a "design a t-shirt" contest. :P

it was a logical question... none should always be an option before spending millions on marketingmoney and development costs which can better be spend in extra devs for future gamerelated products or to add more of those fun events we have now or heck even add more of those fun updates like we had a little while ago. (i love my expanded storage)

You just seemed to be implying that 99.99999% of the community were against the idea of merchandise. Remember, the profits from the merchandise sales can be used to hire more devs to provide more updates.

how come there is a no option?
Instead of getting all these merchandise options out. A better poll would start with will u buy GW merchandise or not. yes / no .. followed by which items would u want.
currently, the polls are skew toward 100% buy.
btw.. my vote? None

I have to say the poll is flawed, it needs the option for "none of the above" to give a realistic idea of whether or not any of the items are viable for marketing. Also, many posters have said they'd buy more than one type of item, but the poll allows only a single vote, so the numbers are also skewed with that missing data. I hope this isn't being considered as a serious marketing study.
Personally, I wouldn't touch any of those items with a 10ft pole. It's shameless merchandising, I have no need for any of it, and definetely no desire for any of it. I'll give the same response I give any company that wants me to wear their logo across my chest: are you going to pay me for the advertising space? I'm not paying to be a walking billboard. And GW plushies??? I honestly don't know what to say to that, the thought boggles my mind. If other people want this stuff, great, it's a free market economy. As for me, you have my opinion, for whatever it's worth.
